Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation
Native species selection and planting to rehabilitate areas to replicate native bushland and promote natural habitats.
Weed Management
Identification and control of all weed species. Works include tree felling and mulching, integrated pest management (herbicide spraying, cut and swab, stem injection, and manual weed removal).
Softscapes and Streetscapes
Associated landscaping works including planting of street trees, edging, rock-lined drains, turfing, feature gardens, vegetated road barriers, and walkway gardens.
Erosion Control
Includes stabilisation of steep slopes and batters, controlling stormwater run-off, drainage channels, and watercourses.
Bushland Regeneration
Restoration of bushland to its natural state including site assessment, species identification, creating wildlife habitat and corridors, and encouraging natural regeneration.
Waterway Rehabilitation
Natural revegetation, weed management, erosion control. May also include fencing, off stream watering for stock, and controlled concrete creek crossings/access points.
Bioretention Basins
Carry out four stages of bioretention basin works:
- Initial bio basin preparation (mulching and planting of batters, laying of geo-fabric and sacrificial turf on bio basin floor)
- Removal and disposal of sacrificial turf, profiling filtration substrate ready for next stage
- Application of sugar cane mulch, coir netting, and planting of native tubestock
- Ongoing maintenance works to meet set performance criteria.
Nest Boxes
Supply and install nest boxes to provide compensatory habitat for arboreal mammals and hollow dependent avian species.
Commercial Landscaping
Largescale landscaping of commercial developments. Hardscape and Softscape Works include but are not limited to suitable species selection, importation and cultivation of soil, profiling of garden beds, turfing, feature gardens, retaining wall construction, drainage systems, bollard installation, garden bed edging, ongoing maintenance works.
